  • Lead with a great approach to assessment of progress.
  • Ensure literacy interventions are co-ordinated, delivered and tracked.
  • Develop English as a specialist and successful dimension of the curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to support the overall well-being and academic progress of each student.

Skills and requirements

  • Full UK Driving License and access to own transport is essential.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with SEN, SLD/PMLD and ASD.
  • Understanding of safeguarding.
