Skills and requirements

• An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you).
• Strong Behaviour Management skills.
• Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress.
• Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport.

Confirmed role details

• Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Maths Lead to promote the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational SEND School Settings in Morpeth o.
• Between £140-220 per day.
• Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2027.
• Start Date – ASAP.

Additional role context

• Will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative Maths lessons that inspire pupils with a wide range of SEN and allows all pupils to make progress.
• Will involve designing, planning and implementing a Maths curriculum.
• Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
