Lead Mechanical Engineer focuses on provide engineering leadership aligned with project objectives and risk strategies.

What the role involves

• Provide engineering leadership aligned with project objectives and risk strategies.
• Work closely with PMT and contractors to ensure risks are clearly understood and managed.
• Driving value improvement and capital efficiency initiatives within design development.
• Recommend and evaluate design alternatives to optimise cost.
• Develop engineering standards, specifications, and philosophies.
• Ensure technical definitions meet pre-FEED.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Reading, UK (Onsite).
• 12 Months (Inside IR35).
• 40 hours per week (Core hours: 09:00 – 15:30).
• 4 days Onsite, 1 day WFH.
