Lead Planner

Lead Planner focuses on leading the development and management of the overall construction schedule for a large-scale carbon capture project.

What the role involves

• Leading the development and management of the overall construction schedule for a large-scale carbon capture project.
• Maintain detailed Level 3 and Level 4 schedules using Primavera P6.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and construction teams to ensure alignment of project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop construction sequencing, work packaging strategies, and execution plans.
• Monitoring contractor performance against baseline schedules and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
• Provide proactive mitigation and recovery planning.

Skills and requirements

• Significant experience in a senior or lead planning role within major industrial, energy, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Process plant, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
• Ability to interpret engineering and construction information to develop robust schedules and forecasts.
