Lead Planner
Lead Planner focuses on leading the development and management of the overall construction schedule for a large-scale carbon capture project.
What the role involves
- Leading the development and management of the overall construction schedule for a large-scale carbon capture project.
- Maintain detailed Level 3 and Level 4 schedules using Primavera P6.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and construction teams to ensure alignment of project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop construction sequencing, work packaging strategies, and execution plans.
- Monitoring contractor performance against baseline schedules and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
- Provide proactive mitigation and recovery planning.
Skills and requirements
- Significant experience in a senior or lead planning role within major industrial, energy, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Process plant, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Ability to interpret engineering and construction information to develop robust schedules and forecasts.
