Lead Project Engineer

Project Manager focuses on assist the project manager with consultants, contractors, and optioneering.

What the role involves

• Assist the Project Manager with consultants, contractors, and optioneering.
• Support Project Engineers. Deputise for the Engineering Manager.
• Leading multi-disciplinary work packages.
• Support early contractor involvement. Work closely with BIM/CAD teams.
• Manage design activities in line with client standards.
• Develop scopes, define requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural or related discipline.
• Experience with the design and assessment of typical industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Theoretical and practical skill and experience across concept design, detailed design and construction stages in heavy industrial and/or maritime civil engineering structures.
• Experience of working in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defence), particularly in the design and assessment of safety-related structures, systems and components.
