What the role involves
- Leading Project Management Specialist 5 (WASMI5).
- Supporting senior leadership decision‑making by collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing data.
- Proactively support integration with Eastern Hemisphere sites to leverage time zone advantages.
- Build and nurture strong relationships and trust with local and global stakeholders (engineering teams, stream leaders and representatives, functional and BU partners).
- Plan and facilitate high‑impact workshops (virtual and in‑person) to drive strategic alignment, commitment, and actionable next steps.
- Coordinating cross‑functional project teams to translate strategy into execution—define scopes, schedules, resource plans, and performance metrics.
Skills and requirements
- 15+ years of proven experience in strategy development (including frameworks), project or program management, planning, or coordination within aerospace, defense, or other complex.
- Proven experience in project management best practices, including scheduling, resource planning, risk management, and delivering projects to plan.
- Experience working in matrixed, multinational organizations and supporting senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience producing dashboards and leadership‑ready materials, including decision frameworks.
