Lead quality and reliability engineer focuses on ensure that all incoming materials and finished goods meet the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.
What the role involves
- Ensure that all incoming materials and finished goods meet the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinating the daily activities of the Quality Engineering team.
- Provide coaching on root-cause analysis, 8D investigations, corrective actions, and quality tools.
- Ensure rapid response to internal quality issues.
- Review and approve quality documentation, work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Ensure 8D investigations are completed to a high standard and corrective actions are effective and verified.
Skills and requirements
- A knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100.
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience with CAPA systems, PFMEA, control plans, and SPC.
- Comfortable working in a small team of nine where efficiency and a fast‑paced environment are essential.
