As a Learning and Development Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract), the work centres on leading and deliver on key business wide L&D projects. Current projects include Onboarding, Talent and Succession and Career Pathways. It would suit someone who can bring managing relationships with key training providers, education institutions and professional bodies ensuring quality content and training to the role.

Where the work sits

Have accountability, responsibility and management of ECITB and Apprenticeship Levy. Manage the Annual Performance Review Process (Let’s Talk) and develop annual training plan for approval and delivery by the L&D team.

How the role works day to day

Leading and deliver on key business wide L&D projects. Current projects include Onboarding, Talent and Succession and Career Pathways. Develop and deliver training sessions across a variety topics including delivering Building Connections (MWHT Induction event). Leading on Early Careers Strategy and oversee management of Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes by L&D Advisor.

Develop internal communication campaigns for L&D events and initiatives. Supporting task-by-task logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards.
