Learning Support Assistant focuses on provide 1:1 and group-based support to young people with additional needs.
What the role involves
- Provide 1:1 and group-based support to young people with additional needs.
- Assisting tutors by ensuring participants can fully engage in learning.
- Supporting individuals to build confidence, independence, and motivation.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and progress tracking.
- Work closely with programme teams to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Experience working with young people or individuals with additional needs.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) including Maths & English.
- Experience supporting individuals to achieve goals/progression.
- This role is offered on a temporary agency basis via Staffline Recruitment Ireland.
- Candidates must be willing to travel to various locations.

- Provide additional learning and disability support to young people (aged 16-22) participating in training programmes such as Training for Success and Apprenticeships NI.
