Job description

This Learning Support Assistant opportunity is built around providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils reach their learning targets. It would suit someone who can bring committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice to the role.

Role overview

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Main responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils reach their learning targets. Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation. Supporting pupils with personal care and emotional regulation when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience working with SEND pupils or in a classroom support role desirable.
  • Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
