This Learning Support Assistant opportunity is built around we are working with a large, inclusive secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across KS3–KS5. It would suit someone who can bring confidence supporting behaviour and engagement in a secondary setting to the role.

11–18 secondary school with sixth form provision. Strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic success.
Main responsibilities
We are working with a large, inclusive secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across KS3–KS5. Help monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching and SEN staff. Assisting teachers in the classroom to promote engagement and understanding.

Confidence supporting behaviour and engagement in a secondary setting. Calm, purposeful classrooms with high expectations.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (including education, care, youth work, tutoring).
- £90 – £110 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
