Job description

The Teaching Assistant position centres on providing 1:1 and small group support. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

As a General Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers in KS2 to provide consistent, compassionate support across the school day. Learning Support Assistant KS2 – L4 Learning Support Assistants – full-time The Role.

Main responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support. Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children with autism and/or PMLD (school or care settings).
  • Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
