Learning Support Assistant (Level 2)

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to support learning and behaviour for pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. It would suit someone who can bring their approach is rooted in strong relationships, consistency, and high expectations, with a clear focus on re‑engagement, regulation and positive oues to the role.
Role overview
We are working with a school in Leicester who are seeking a Level 2 TA to join their school. This school provides education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 who require a more personalised and flexible approach to education.
Main responsibilities
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to support learning and behaviour for pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Supporting students with high behavioural and emotional needs in the classroom and around the school. Play a key role in helping students to access education, regulate their behaviour and build positive attitudes to learning.

Requirements
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
