What the role involves
- Maintaining focus on achievement of desired outcomes for learners across all subject areas looking at a variety of progression destinations to ensure they are preparing for and partic.
- Have a good understanding of all learners’ needs, including LDD/SEND and supportive strategies that are included in the group profile and initial assessment.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on progress of learners, against targets set, including qualifications and pastoral support needs.
- Develop relationships and liaise with appropriate external agencies in support of learner’s needs and work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting as required.
- Supporting to ensure the individual needs of the students are met.
- Experience of working with LLDD students with a SEN, adapting delivery.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
