What the role involves

  • Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Help students complete tasks and stay focused in lessons.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
  • Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Skills and requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A genuine passion for supporting learning and development.
  • Relevant education, childcare, or support experience is beneficial.
