Learning Support Assistant
Job description
This Learning Support Assistant role is focused on supporting pupils (1:1 and small groups). It would suit someone who can bring some pupils may display behaviours of concern, requiring calm and consistent support to the role.
Role overview
Funded qualifications and career progression. Support children with autism and complex needs in a structured, nurturing environment—helping them develop life skills, regulate emotions, and achieve meaningful progress.
Main responsibilities
Supporting pupils (1:1 and small groups). Delivering engaging indoor and outdoor learning. Encourage emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

Some pupils may display behaviours of concern, requiring calm and consistent support.
Requirements
- Experience with children or vulnerable individuals.
- Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification.

- Annual pay split across 12 months – paid during school holidays.
