Learning support assistant (SEN)
Learning support assistant focuses on provide targeted one-to-one support tailored to the pupil's individual learning, social, and emotional needs.
What the role involves
- Provide targeted one-to-one support tailored to the pupil's individual learning, social, and emotional needs.
- Build a trusting, positive, and motivational relationship to help the pupil develop confidence and make meaningful progress.
- Collaborate proactively with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement effective behaviour support and personalised learning strategies.
- Ensure the pupil always feels heard, understood, respected, and valued.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or in a similar support role.
Skills and requirements
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Confirmed role details
- Full-time availability is preferred but not essential.
- Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll.
