Learning Support Assistant
Job description
This Teaching Assistant role is focused on assisting children to engage with learning and develop independence. It would suit someone who can bring individuals with a strong desire to make a positive difference in children’s lives to the role.
Who the work supports
Supporting pupils with additional needs either 1:1 or in small groups. Teaching Personnel is looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants supporting children with additional needs in school settings.
How support shows up
Assisting children to engage with learning and develop independence. Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant. Backgrounds in care, youth work, or support services.

- Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
