Job description
This Learning Support Assistant opportunity is built around providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Down’s syndrome. It would suit someone who can bring work alongside the class teacher and wider support staff to adapt learning activities, encourage communication, and provide a calm and supportive presence to the role.
Where the work sits

How the role works day to day
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Down’s syndrome. Will involve a mixture of 1:1 classroom support and assisting with small group activities where appropriate. Maintaining safeguarding, care, and inclusion at all times Who We’re Looking For:.

Practical details

- Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
What needs to be in place
- Experience supporting children with SEND, additional needs, or in care settings is desirable.
- Gain valuable SEND and classroom experience.
- You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
