This Learning Support Assistant opportunity is built around supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs. It would suit someone who can bring prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children to the role.
Where the work sits
You may provide support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum, manage behaviour and build confidence. Responsibilities Providing targeted 1:1 or small-group support.

Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs. Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. Well-resourced classrooms and specialist provisions.

Practical details
- Free training & CPD including safeguarding, SEND and behaviour support.
- Prospero Teaching are working with supportive schools across the Wallasey area who are seeking full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for long-term roles starting in February.
- A dedicated consultant focused on finding the right role for you.
- Schools are looking for calm, patient and proactive LSAs who can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
What needs to be in place
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (essential).
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
