Learning Support Assistant

Support Worker focuses on supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required.

What the role involves

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Supporting students with organisation, study skills, and independent learning.
• Help students prepare for assessments, coursework, and examinations.

Skills and requirements

• Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students and staff.
• Care, or support work is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring.
• Valuable experience for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, counsellors, and education professionals.

Confirmed role details

• £92.59–£120 per day (depending on experience).
• GSL are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a secondary school setting across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop independence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.
• Support staff to help students access the curriculum.
