What the role involves

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Supporting students with organisation, study skills, and independent learning.
  • Help students prepare for assessments, coursework, and examinations.

Skills and requirements

  • Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students and staff.
  • Care, or support work is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring.
  • Valuable experience for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, counsellors, and education professionals.
