Learning Support Assistant
Support Worker focuses on supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required.
What the role involves
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required.
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Supporting students with organisation, study skills, and independent learning.
- Help students prepare for assessments, coursework, and examinations.
Skills and requirements
- Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students and staff.
- Care, or support work is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring.
- Valuable experience for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, counsellors, and education professionals.
Confirmed role details
- £92.59–£120 per day (depending on experience).
- GSL are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a secondary school setting across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop independence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.
- Support staff to help students access the curriculum.
