Learning Support Worker
Job description
This Support Worker role is focused on this could be supporting a group or providing 1:1 support to an individual student, both in the classroom and/or in the community. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.

This could be supporting a group or providing 1:1 support to an individual student, both in the classroom and/or in the community. You will have good communication skills with the ability to work with teachers and other support workers and provide feedback on student progress.

Practical details
- We have a variety of permanent contracts to offer ranging from 12 hours per week up to 30 hours per week.
- Working days are Monday–Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm.
- The position is for 38 weeks per year (term time only) with a variety of working patterns available.
- Excellent training and development opportunities.
What needs to be in place
- Level 2 Learning Support or Health and Social Care qualification.
- All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure that is considered satisfactory by the College.
- If you are appointed you must reimburse the College of the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
