The Lecturer & Program Manager for Economics & Politics position centres on coordinating the recruitment of new faculty across all programs, including onboarding and any ongoing training needs or support. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
Where the work sits
Teaching & Learning Responsibilities: : 40%Normally, teach 4 classes per academic year, across the fall, spring and summer semesters. This is a full-time, fixed term (3 years) position reporting to the Associate Director for Academic Affairs.
How the role works day to day
Coordinating the recruitment of new faculty across all programs, including onboarding and any ongoing training needs or support. Supporting the investigation of academic integrity concerns, the academic disciplinary process and other academic conduct issues for new students in Culture, Education and Psychology. Collaborate with Wasserman Center and Global Programs staff to support and develop structured career development programming for Economics and Politics students.
Practical details
- Include: 28 days annual leave pro rata, USS pension scheme and private medical insurance (optional).

What needs to be in place
- Relevant teaching experience, particularly teaching American undergraduates.
