Level 2 Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. It would suit someone who can bring promoting positive behaviour and encouraging student engagement to the role.

Who the work supports

Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Leicester. Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and/or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

What needs to be in place

• Recent experience working in a secondary school or with young people.

• Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
