Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Level 2 TA)

Level 2 Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.

What the role involves

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students as required.
• Assisting pupils in understanding lesson content and completing tasks.
• Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Preparing and organise learning resources and classroom materials.

Skills and requirements

• CACHE Level 2, NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child development.

• £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience).
