This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Who the work supports
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. These roles are initially temporary, with strong potential to become long-term or permanent.

What needs to be in place
- Have at least 6 months’ recent experience in a school or similar setting (within the last 3 years).
- Have experience supporting children with SEND.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel locally.
Job details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Pension contributions (subject to qualifying period).
- Additional detail: Additional staff or wellbeing benefits may be available.
