What the role involves

• Be enthusiastic, caring and nurturing, showing genuine excitement when learning goes to plan and resilience and adaptability when it does not.
• Support and learning programmes that enable learners to access education, both in and out of the classroom.
• Confidently working under the instruction and guidance of teaching or senior staff to deliver care.
• Applicants must maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and learning.
• A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all successful applicants, which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Skills and requirements

• We are seeking a committed and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant with proven experience in a primary school setting.
• A strong, inclusive and child-centred approach is essential.
• A sense of humour and a desire to make learning and time in school fun is essential.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required for this post.

Confirmed role details

• We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Level 2 teaching assistant to join our highly motivated team on a fixed-term basis, 8:45 to 15:15 five days a week.

• Fixed term for one year, 31 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
