Level 3/Level 5 Apprentice

Level 3/Level 5 Apprentice focuses on supporting children’s emotional, social, physical and educational development.

What the role involves

• Supporting children’s emotional, social, physical and educational development.
• Planning and taking part in age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
• Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress (with support where required).
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers.
• The apprenticeship will be delivered by Total Training Provision, offering structured support throughout the programme.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience in a nursery setting is desirable but not essential, as full training.
• Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Ongoing training and development to support career progression.

Confirmed role details

• Job learning, remote sessions, online modules, regular reviews and assessment activities to support development and successful completion of the appren.

Additional role context

• Level 3/Level 5 Apprentice focuses on providing high-quality care and education in line with eyfs.
• Training will take place within the workplace at Shining Stars Nursery or remotely through online learning and virtual sessions with a dedicated Skills Coach.
• Training will be delivered regularly throughout the apprenticeship, alongside normal working hours.
