Level 3 Nursery Practitioner focuses on delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development.

What the role involves

• Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development.
• Supporting the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, play, and rest periods.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, contributing to planning and development records.
• Clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.
• Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to ensure smooth operation and consistent care.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children’s activities and well-being.

Skills and requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years frameworks.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to various shifts and settings.
