NRL are currently looking for a Level 3 IRATA Rope Acess Technician based in Southampton to join our clients team.

Must have: 
  • IRATA Level 3 Certification with logged hours within 6 months. 
  • First Aid Certificate. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. 
  • Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks. 
  • Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other digital applications. 
  • Full UK Driving Licence. 
  • Desirable Experience 
    Experience / certificates below are desirable but not required as full training will be provided. 
  • Experience within the oil and gas industry onshore or construction sector desirable. 
  • SSSTS / SMSTS. 
  • CSCS Card. 
  • CCNSG Safety Passport. 

  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of IRATA technicians.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Rope Access Operations including Rescue, Rigging and Hauling Systems.
  • Delivering toolbox talks, project briefs, and liaising with customers on-site.
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP) and key legislation.
  • Implementing our Safe system of Work.
  • Undertaking planning tasks including compiling risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carrying out pre-works site visits with our onsite Technical Authority
  • Location: Southampton
    Site: Fawley Refinery
    Duration: 6 months
    Working Hours: 10 hours a day, 6 days a week (Sunday to Friday)
    Start: ASAP

    Rates of pay:

    PAYE
    Basic: £24 + HolidayPay
    OT1: £ + HolidayPay
    OT2: £ HolidayPay

    CIS option available 

    Travel / Radius in line with NAECI 
    Lodge (if required)
