Level 3 Rope Access Technician

NRL are currently looking for a Level 3 IRATA Rope Acess Technician based in Southampton to join our clients team.

Must have: 

IRATA Level 3 Certification with logged hours within 6 months. 

First Aid Certificate. 

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. 

Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks. 

Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other digital applications. 

Full UK Driving Licence. 

Desirable Experience 
Experience / certificates below are desirable but not required as full training will be provided. 

Experience within the oil and gas industry onshore or construction sector desirable. 

SSSTS / SMSTS. 

CSCS Card. 

CCNSG Safety Passport. 

Primary Responsibilities

Leading a team of IRATA technicians.

Proficiency in all aspects of Rope Access Operations including Rescue, Rigging and Hauling Systems.

Delivering toolbox talks, project briefs, and liaising with customers on-site.

Maintaining extensive knowledge of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP) and key legislation.

Implementing our Safe system of Work.

Undertaking planning tasks including compiling risk assessments and method statements.

Carrying out pre-works site visits with our onsite Technical Authority

Location: Southampton
Site: Fawley Refinery
Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: 10 hours a day, 6 days a week (Sunday to Friday)
Start: ASAP

Rates of pay:

PAYE
Basic: £24 + HolidayPay
OT1: £ + HolidayPay
OT2: £ HolidayPay

CIS option available 

Travel / Radius in line with NAECI 
Lodge (if required)
