Library & Information Coordinator focuses on managing the day-to-day operation of library and learning centre services.

What the role involves

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of Library and Learning Centre services.
  • Coordinating the work of Learning Centre Assistants.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain library collections, catalogues and digital resources in collaboration with curriculum teams.
  • Deliver library, information literacy and IT induction sessions for students and staff.
  • Supporting and champion AI and digital innovation initiatives.

Skills and requirements

  • A Level 3 or higher qualification in Library, Information Science or a related discipline.
