Lifeguard & Camp Instructor
Lifeguard & Camp Instructor focuses on to be responsible for the overall wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care.
What the role involves
- To be responsible for the overall wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care.
- To help deliver a programme of daily activities suitable for the age range of the children in a safe environment.
- Supervise a group of children during daily activities, swimming, games, and outings.
- To promote the ethos of Discover Activity Camps, providing an exceptional role model to children in your care.
- Promotion of exceptional safeguarding practices at all times, including awareness of recording and reporting procedures in accordance with the Safeguarding Policy.
- To ensure that buildings and rooms are adequately secured upon departure through the use of door codes and locks.
Skills and requirements
- Someone who holds a RLSS Lifeguarding/ NRASTC qualification or equivalent.
- If you have worked in a Holiday Club environment before that would be great but don’t worry if you haven’t!
- Experience coaching young persons’ sports is desirable.
- We also want to hear about any experience you have delivering other activities such as arts/dance/music/computing/science.
Confirmed role details
- In order to create an amazing experience for our children, our staff are absolutely critical to our success each and every Holiday.
- Staff will be contacted in advance of each holiday period to confirm availability.
- £15.13 per hour (21 and over) £12.21 per hour (20 and under) Including holiday pay.
