What the role involves
- Conduct detailed assessments of existing lift systems, identifying maintenance requirements, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Provide expert technical recommendations to improve lift performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with contracted lift maintenance providers to ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Review and assess current maintenance contracts to ensure best value for money.
- Oversee major lift refurbishments and modernisation projects.
Skills and requirements
- Extensive experience in lift engineering across a range of suppliers, including MacPuarsa, Stannah, Kleemann, and Kollmorgen.
- Repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, including diagnostics.
- Deep understanding of UK lift regulations, compliance frameworks, and health & safety legislation.
