Lift Engineer
Lift Engineer focuses on carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs on a range of passenger lifts.
What the role involves
- Carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs on a range of passenger lifts.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Manage parts requirements.
- Participate in a fair and structured call-out rota, including evenings and weekends.
- Work safely at all times, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) - Essential.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within lift service or repair - Essential.
- Good working knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers and control systems.
- Able to manage a service route of approximately 50-60 units across a local Yorkshire patch.
Confirmed role details
- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- OTE: £65,000+ per annum (including callout and overtime).
- Callout/Standby Earnings: £500 per week.
