Lift Installation Engineer focuses on installing lift ropes (traction media) and adjust in accordance with approved procedures.

What the role involves

• Installing Lift Ropes (traction media) and adjust in accordance with approved procedures.
• Have install suspension, safety and governor ropes to new or reconstructed lift equipment.
• Conducting out site surveys.
• Keeping the supervisor informed regarding the progress of work, hours spent and any non-compliance.
• Staying in communication with the customer and the supervisor to ensure the satisfaction of the customer needs.
• Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator Installation.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
