Job description
This Light Vehicle Service and Maintenance Apprentice Technician role is focused on supporting other technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training. It would suit someone who can bring ideally grades C (or 4) and above in GCSE Maths and English but not essential to the role.
What the work leans on
Go on to learn Simple and Complex Fault Diagnosis and Repairs on Engine, Chassis, Transmission and Electrical systems. The right person will work towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance.
Where the technical work sits
- Assist other technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training.
- Supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards.
What helps delivery stay steady
Ideally grades C (or 4) and above in GCSE Maths and English but not essential. Good knowledge and understanding of Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. To have a keen & genuine interest in the automotive trade.
