Linux Platform & Systems Engineer focuses on leading and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of bespoke linux-based systems and applications.

What the role involves

• Leading and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of bespoke Linux-based systems and applications.
• Supporting the ongoing evolution of enterprise and satellite communication platforms.
• Managing and improve CI/CD pipelines and development tooling.
• Supporting escalated technical issues and customer-facing engineering activities where required.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Skills and requirements

• Hands-on experience across modern Linux environments.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Degree, HND/HNC in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline OR equivalent commercial experience.
• Ideally 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Redhill, Surrey (Onsite First 6 Months), Hybrid after probation/training period – up to 6 remote days per month.
