Location: Fairlop Waters Country Park, Ilford IG6 3HN
Salary: £13.85 per hour
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Thursday to Monday Shift Pattern
Please note - A full Clean UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential for this position.

They are currently seeking diligent and reliable Litter Pickers and Bin Emptying Operatives to join their team immediately until the end of September.

About the Role:
As a Litter Picker and Bin Emptying Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of Fairlop Waters Country Park. You will be responsible for litter picking, emptying bins, and ensuring that the park remains a welcoming environment for visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litter picking throughout the park
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Walking the site with a wheelbarrow if not driving
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour with park visitors
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have work boots and smartish work clothing
- Reliable and punctual
- Good physical fitness for walking and manual tasks
Desirable:
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Familiarity with outdoor maintenance tasks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
