- Liaise with couriers and third-party shipping agents to coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with aerospace and defence regulations.
- Ensure efficient material flow throughout the business to meet production and customer delivery schedules.
- Maintaining full traceability of materials in line with aerospace standards and internal quality procedures.
- Ensure quality processes are adhered too for all goods arriving and NCR procedure is followed.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in logistics management within aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
Additional role context
- Lead a team of 9 Material Controllers and work closely with third-party shipping agents and courier services to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
