Machine Customisation Engineer focuses on carry out bodywork paint touch-ups to manufacturer standards.
What the role involves
- Carry out bodywork paint touch-ups to manufacturer standards.
- Resolve faults, escalating where required.
- Carry out repairs and replace parts as needed.
- Install and calibrate 3DMG systems on Komatsu excavators.
- Install and calibrate systems such as X-Watch, Safety Shield and Tilt Rotators.
- Set up attachment flows and pressures for customer equipment.
Skills and requirements
- Mechanical experience, including installations and basic electrics.
- Experience working with heavy construction plant machinery, including hydraulic excavators.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft D365 or similar systems).
