Maintainance engineer

Maintainance engineer focuses on carry out preventative maintenance across site equipment and infrastructure.

What the role involves

• Carry out preventative maintenance across site equipment and infrastructure.
• Respond to maintenance issues and breakdowns as they arise.
• Assisting with the installation, upgrade and replacement of equipment and systems.
• Supporting general site upkeep including basic plumbing, joinery.
• Help with the movement and setup of equipment within operational and office areas.
• Maintaining accurate records and maintenance logs in line with quality procedures.

Skills and requirements

• Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Experience within a maintenance, facilities or engineering environment.
• Strong hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Candidate fit

• Technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving.
