Maintenance Administrator based in Cardiff
Full Time | £13.45 per hour | 37.5 hours per week
Please note we can also offer part time - Mon-fri 9am-2:30pm
 
6 month Fixed Term Contract
Are you positive, adaptable, collaborative, reliable, and professional, with a proactive approach to challenges and development?
We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Administrator to support our Estates & Maintenance team during a period of change. You’ll manage the day-to-day helpdesk, coordinate maintenance activities, and play a key role in the mobilisation of new CAFM system.
What you’ll do:
  • Act as a first point of contact for maintenance requests, including monitoring and responding to our Estates emergency line
  • Log, track, and coordinate reactive and emergency maintenance requests
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of works for Direct Labour Operatives (DLOs) and external contractors
  • Support CAFM system migration and data management
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation and audit trails to support Estates reporting and KPI monitoring
  • Assist with internal and external audits and inspections by collating and providing required documentation
What you’ll need:
  • 1–3 year experience working within Facilities Management, Estates, Maintenance, or Construction environments
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident using CAFM/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a reactive, fast-paced operational environment
  • Basic understanding of maintenance or technical operations is desirable
  • The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
