Maintenance Electrician

This Maintenance Electrician role is focused on fixed wire testing (EICR), PAT testing, and statutory inspections in line with 18th Edition (BS7671). It would suit someone who can bring iT literate (mobile devices and job management systems) to the role.

What the work leans on

This role focuses primarily on electrical maintenance, compliance, and fault resolution, while also providing multi-skilled support across wider building services when required. We are seeking an experienced Mobile Building Services Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support a portfolio of commercial and residential sites across Central and Greater London.

Where the technical work sits

• Fixed wire testing (EICR), PAT testing, and statutory inspections in line with 18th Edition (BS7671).
• Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, and control systems.
• Responding to electrical emergencies promptly and safely.

Technical requirements

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance across commercial or residential sites.

Practical details

• Overtime: Time and a half or double time, plus £150 standby allowance.
• Call-Out Rota: 1 week in 7 (24/7/365 rotational cover).
