Maintenance Engineer

This Maintenance Engineer role is focused on carrying out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Understanding of IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality standards. Prepared to accommodate emergency call out (within reasonable parameters).

• Carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion.

Technical requirements

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of Quality systems such as IATF16949 / ISO 9000 a distinct advantage.
• Experienced in Robotics. specifically, ABB 6 Axis robot / Fanuc and PLC Programming.

Practical details

• Fault finding and repair on electrical issues and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Route cause analysis to identify issues and provide 1st time fixes to reduce downtime.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance systems for PPM and TPM.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
