Job description
As a Maintenance Engineer, the work centres on carrying out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK’s most respected textiles and manufacturing businesses. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Bolton / Oldham / Burnley.

Carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion.
What needs to be in place
- Holding a NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Fitter in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on factory machines.
Job details
- Work a Continental shift – 4on-4off – 2days – 2nights.
- 12-hour shift – working 7am till 7pm with 277 hours holiday.
- Plenty of Overtime – paying great rates / Parking / Canteen.
- Great Pension Contribution 10%.
