How the role is set up

We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK’s most respected textiles and manufacturing businesses. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Bolton / Oldham / Burnley.

Where someone would start

Carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion.

What is expected

• Holding a NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Fitter in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on factory machines.

Job details

• Work a Continental shift – 4on-4off – 2days – 2nights.
• 12-hour shift – working 7am till 7pm with 277 hours holiday.
• Plenty of Overtime – paying great rates / Parking / Canteen.
