Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Maintenance Engineer focuses on carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites.

What the role involves

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Repair electrical faults on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Give technical support on installation, commissioning, and projects across various departments.
• Work autonomously with the projects team on equipment upgrades and site improvements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Follow health & safety procedures and engineering best practices.

Skills and requirements

• HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of PLC’s, inverters, motors, pumps, and encoders.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and carry out electrical/circuit modifications.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.

Confirmed role details

• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE (possible shift allowance).
• Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.
• 38 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00hrs, Friday 07:30 – 12:50hrs.
