Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Maintenance Engineer focuses on carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites.
What the role involves
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Repair electrical faults on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Give technical support on installation, commissioning, and projects across various departments.
- Work autonomously with the projects team on equipment upgrades and site improvements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Follow health & safety procedures and engineering best practices.
Skills and requirements
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of PLC’s, inverters, motors, pumps, and encoders.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and carry out electrical/circuit modifications.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
Confirmed role details
- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE (possible shift allowance).
- Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.
- 38 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00hrs, Friday 07:30 – 12:50hrs.
