Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer focuses on investigate the nature of plant failures and subsequently carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid loss of plant production.

What the role involves

• Provide specialist technical advice where appropriate.

Skills and requirements

• Experience in FMCG environments, preferably food.
• Have creative thinking skills and techniques for engineering/maintenance issues.
• Excellentmunicator, strong analytical, oral/writtenmunication.
• Non-time-served candidates may also be considered subject to relevant experience and work history.

Confirmed role details

• Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to.
• Liaising with production managers and shift supervisors to determine day-to-day maintenance and production priorities.

Additional role context

• Maintenance Engineer -ber - Days - Up to £21 p/h (DoE).
• Perform daily in-depth fault-finding, Root Cause Analyses, diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
• Repair faults on plant control systems.
