Maintenance Engineer

Health, Medical Science & Generative Biology. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems as well as a range of equipment onsit.

• Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, including equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities, identifying issues and providing timely, effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to identify maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency.

Technical requirements

• A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or, a relevant technical qualification in electrical or mechanical enginee.
• Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) or similar maintenance software.
• A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the location.

Practical details

• £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on performance) + bonus + travel.
• This is a fully office based position. You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary.
• Live in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford.
• During peak periods, some longer hours may be required and some working across multiple time zones due to the global nature of the programme.
