Maintenance Engineer
Job description
This Maintenance Engineer role is focused on delivery of a Planned maintenance program to ensure reliability of equipment and to improve asset performance. It would suit someone who can bring time served in an industry or a level 3 NVQ in an engineering related subject to the role.

What you would be doing
Delivery of a Planned maintenance program to ensure reliability of equipment and to improve asset performance. Ensure minimal unscheduled downtime through fast and effective response to breakdowns, monitor the performance of the line post breakdown to ensure it is fully operational. Leading the department Engineering RCA (root cause analysis) to stop any issues from re-occurring.
The working style that fits
Time served in an industry or a level 3 NVQ in an engineering related subject. Familiar with working on production equipment including filling lines, conveyors, packaging lines, autoclaves tablet pressers, granulator, WFI and heat sterilizers etc.
What you need
- Experience of working within a regulated process environment ideally pharmaceutical, food or fine chemical.
- Carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion.
Practical information
- Your shifts will rotate on a weekly basis from 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.
